Javanese

The Javanese cat is a refined, medium-sized, and elegant breed, closely related to the Balinese and Siamese cats, with its own distinctive long-haired variation and a playful, affectionate temperament.

Appearance and features

• The Javanese cat has a slender, muscular body with long, fine-boned legs, a wedge-shaped head, striking almond-shaped eyes (usually blue or green), and large, widely set ears.
• Its semi-long, silky coat is single-layered (without an undercoat) and lies close to the body, creating an elongated look. The tail is long and plumed, and the fur is especially plush around the neck and tail.
